Now that I’m nearly through the first two seasons of “The Only Way is Essex” it’s fairly easy to identify the “reality” show formula used in each episode. For instance, a lot of gossip is disseminated in Amy’s Salon.

It always seems whenever a guy or girl is drying off in the mobile tanning booth or getting a massage from Amy, they feel the need to divulge all of their secrets. Usually the secrets involve who is “snogging” (kissing) who or who is in a feud with who. It’s great fun to watch all these extremely tan and overly made-up individuals go at it with each other over trivial things.
