There are many times in a person’s life when we are faced with dilemmas. As a Melanoma survivor and current fighter, I am constantly faced with the challenge of which sunless tanning solution to use, or which sunless tanning products are the best. One of the struggles  that I face with dealing with Melanoma, and facing its day to day issues, is that I find myself preaching to several tanning salons and today’s youth on the dangers of UV tanning. The struggle is that I want to preach the beauties of pale skin, but I too desire the natural healthy look of a suntan, and seek the desire to be tan.

After all – being tan is what ended me up in the mess that I am in. Growing up in the north, at least for half of my life, and being active in sports gave me the passion to go to tanning salons as much as possible; so that I could achieve the ultimate tan, sometimes even three to four times a week. With the desire to still have some type of color, the mission to find the perfect sunless tanning solution still lives on.
