Where to Find Spray Tan Supplies
One of the most common questions people ask me when they are trying to get started in the spray tan industry is simply “where can I find spray tan supplies?” And frankly, it’s a legitimate question. You certainly can’t walk into a department store or your local mall to buy an applicator, solutions and spray tan tents.
Like most things these days, the fastest and easiest way to find the best deals and lowest prices is by turning your search to the internet. If you are just getting started, you’ll be able to find discounted machines to use while you practice and hone your skills. But if you need an advanced model, the web is also the ideal place to comparison shop and research the latest technologies. Either way, you’re best bet is to move your search online

What You Need to Know Before Your Spray Tan?
Before you go to get your spray tan, it’s important to take a few steps to ensure you come out looking as good as possible. The first line of business is to exfoliate your entire body, which will slough off dead skin and prepare you to receive the spray tan solution. When you go for your appointment, it’s important to refrain from putting any products on your body, including makeup, moisturizers and deodorant, as they can prevent the tan from setting. Also be sure to wear dark, loose-fitting clothing and flip flops to your session, as the tan can stick to tight garments.
After you get your tan, it’s imperative to avoid the water for at least 24 hours until the solution dries completely. This includes sweating, so don’t hit the gym for at least a day. Applying lotion continuously will nourish your skin and help it receive the solution, meaning your tan will last longer.
Tanning Tax Targets Jersey Shore?
My brother was watching the new season of Jersey Shore this weekend—ok, I admit it, I was watching it with him—and I was surprised to see one of the characters discussing politics. The topic was the new health care reform bill—although I’m not sure if she knew that. Anyways, one of the stars of the show, Snookie, was distraught over one of the new taxes from the bill that just went into effect: the tanning tax.
According to Snookie, Obama added the provision to the bill specifically for Snookie and her Jersey Shore cast mates. It would be hilarious if this were actually the case, but I think that the Obama administration has bigger fish to fry than the tanning habits of the Jersey Shore cast—although he did mention Snookie by name when discussing the provision. Now Snookie has switched to sunless tanning products because, apparently, she can’t swing the 10% levy.
