Which Sunless Tanning Solution Should I Use?

If you have never applied a spray tan before, you may be asking yourself, “What type of sunless tanning solution should I use?” The truth is that there is no objective answer that will work for all people, and the proper solution is contingent on your particular skin tone and characteristics. There are four skin types, and there is a different solution that is appropriate for each one:
~Type I skin is typically very fair and is characterized by sensitivity to sun and inability to tan. A solution with a DHA percentage around 7 is optimal.
~Type II has similar characteristics as Type I expect that you will be able to achieve a light tan; a stronger solution with a DHA percentage of 7-9 is recommended.
~Type III is the category that most Caucasians fit into, and these people can achieve a medium tan in the sun. A solution with a DHA percentage of around 9 is advised.
~Type IV is the darkest category and usually includes people of Hispanic, Asian and Mediterranean descent. A stronger solution of 9-11 is suggested, and you may even add extra darkening solution
